That giveth joy to all,

That comforteth the sad;

让伤心的人得到安慰；

That helpeth others to be strong,

帮助他人更加坚强无惧，

And makes the singer glad.

唱歌的人也忘掉伤悲。

God make my life a little hymn,

上帝把我的生命变成一首赞美诗，

Of tenderness and praise;

温柔慈爱，至诚礼赞；

Of faith—that never waxeth dim,

虔诚信仰——以一切神奇的方式，

In all His wondrous ways.
